Our mission
SCRI, Community Services for Refugees and Immigrants, is an organization dedicated to facilitating the settlement and rapid integration of newcomers into Quebec society. Guided by values such as humanity, cooperation and respect for each individual, our mission is to meet the concrete needs of immigrants and refugees. We support them in their integration into the school, social and productive system, while promoting dialogue and intercultural rapprochement. Our objectives include the provision of training and skills programs for the labor market, the development of various assistance programs (housing, education, health, etc.), support for asylum seekers, promotion of the French language , the provision of vocational training opportunities and the creation of an environment conducive to social and cultural sharing. Despite economic and demographic constraints, our vision remains deeply human and centered on respect for the rights of refugees and immigrants.
Our values
The human
We believe that every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of background or situation.
Cooperation
We work closely with other organizations and community members to provide effective assistance and support refugees and immigrants in their integration.
Respect
We respect the cultures, beliefs and traditions of our customers and are committed to helping them maintain their identity while adapting to their new surroundings.
A realistic vision of the needs of immigrants
Meeting the needs of newcomers in a real and tangible way is our primary objective. To do this, we help them integrate into the school, social and productive system. But our approach goes beyond that: the actions we put in place aim to promote dialogue and intercultural rapprochement within Quebec society.
